Day ten Thursday (24/ 7/2014)

I started my day at 8:00 by shopping at City Center of Nottingham shaire , specifically at Primark .
Primark sells fashionable clothes at the low cost end of the
market. Primark offer a diverse range of products, stocking
everything from new born and kids clothing, to womenswear,
menswear, home ware, accessories, footwear, beauty products
and confectionery. As a conclusion Primark prices are affordable.

From 11:00 to 6:00 we spent our day in Chatsworth in Darby shire

Chatsworth is a family home for the Duke and Duchess of
Devonshire , also a working community and a living landscape. Chatsworth is the most astonishing place i cant even  describe it fairly , you just can imagine 16 generations passing through it from 1572 till now, and every one placed his own touch !!!!!
I can just recommend you to see the following link http://www.chatsworth.org/

St Bartholomew, Exquisite Pain

Bronze 2006

This is the most meaningful sculpture
 i have liked in chatsworth

Little is known about St. Bartholomew other than he was one of the twelve Apostles l. Tradition holds that after the Resurrection of Christ  he preached in India and Armenia, and was flayed alive in Armenia by order of a local king.
The sculpture stands on a round table which is scattered with the various tools that Hirst used -Damien Hirst is an English artist -  to make the original work.. As Saint Bartholomew was a martyr who was skinned alive, He holds his own skin over his arm and he holds a scalpel and a pair of scissors in his hands so that his exposure and pain are seemingly self-inflicted. It's beautiful yet tragic, and like Saint Sebastian his face shows no pain.
