Day Five Saturday (19/7/2014)

I will start with brief description about UK currency , they have  1 and  2 as a coins .  5, 10, 20 and 50 as note and 1, 2,5,10,20 and 50 P (Penny ) as coins .100 p = 1 £
All the currency have on it picture of Queen Elizabeth .
As a general ideas in Nottingham shaire their is town center , with a lots of shops of different kinds , and in general prices depend on the shop if its expensive or not  , and if you go to the cheaper one , as a result for comparison price with Lebanon , the food price and  cosmetics  is the same , the chocolate - the trend mark for example Callebarry  - less expensive , for example you can find a box of chocolate by 1 and 4 , and that equivalent to 1.6$ and 6.4$  and that the trend mark .Regarding the clothes , of course it depend on the trends , people choice , but i see " Prime mark" as the best choice in general  .

Nottingham Castle

We started our day by visiting Nottingham Castle at 10:15 AM .      Nottingham Castle has a  rich , turbulent and intriguing history , The castle built in 1067 , and pass through different stages to 1878 where the building opened as a museum & art gallery . The museum collections include 15 centuries of Nottingham history brought to life through displays and stories .

THE MUSEUM OF NOTTINGHAM LIFE:

Nottingham museum is at the base of castle, we visited it at 2:00 . This museum discover over 300 years of Nottingham's history. Witness what houses and shops would have looked like in the early 1900s with a huge variety of items (from toys to tools) that span the years . The Museum of Nottingham Life is housed within five 17th Century cottages where we learned about the people of Nottingham through the objects they made, used or owned and the stories they tell us.

The star of the exhibit is a fabulous Dolls House . donated to the museum in 2003 by local lady Elizabeth Farr, this huge house was originally a gift to Elizabeth from her godmother in her 7th birthday , and that's took 7 years to be finished  , and contains dolls that represent members of her family!
