They raised money for different charities each year - this year was children cancer charity - clic sargent . The amount raised this year was the highest one 2800 £ .

Headstocks
Headstock is a structure atop a coal mine, used to sink and lift miners and loads.
You can feel the suffering of the miners, from just looking at the picture. There is iron box in the machine that raise workers and sink them underground, where breathing is difficult for them not to mention the risks involved .

They also sang " I will survive " song , but of course they changed the lyric ,to fit the situation -and they do that a lot -
i will quote some nice phrases :
" Go on now go , walk out the door
you'll turn around now
because you'll be back for more
weren't you the one who tried to help us get supply
you didn't crumble !
You didn't lay dawn and cry !
Oh how will we , will we survive ? "
Also as a nice idea , as i said she is retiring , therefore they made a phrases from each letter in "Retirement " word , for example as i remember , R for Rest , T for time to say good bye , E for energy , M for memories ............., they was actually a long nice phrase , but that's what i just remember :(
